Personal
My background as a refugee has served as both a setback and also as an opportunity to connect and work toward a larger purpose. I was fortunate enough to be able to escape Burma before conflict could reach my hometown and knowing that I've been given an opportunity that many other children can only hope for has motivated me to be involved in my community.

Church
My involvement in my community is mainly focused on my church. Although I'm not the most religious, I love working with other people, and working as a youth leader for the younger kids at my church is a very fun learning experience. Looking at the picture on the right you can see the elders/leaders of my church but the man in the middle is the most important to me. His name is Richard. He's been a great influence and mentor to me. He's taught me everything I know about managing a group.
